January-February 2026 Newsletter: Programs, Partnerships & What’s Ahead

Jan 27, 2026Announcements, Program Highlights and Achievements, WKAS Newsletters

At West Kentucky Allied Services, Inc., our mission is to support individuals and families with resources that make a real difference. Our latest newsletter shares several exciting updates and ongoing efforts across the region.

This past holiday season, our Santa for Seniors program brought joy to more than 300 homebound seniors in Graves and Calloway Counties through partnerships with local Meals on Wheels programs. We are also preparing for the LIHEAP Winter Crisis Assistance Program (January 6–March 27, 2026), which provides emergency help with heating costs for eligible households.

We’re proud of our continued collaboration with community partners, including recent efforts with Paducah Power System to help restore power for a client in need. Additionally, we’re making progress toward launching a new transportation program to better serve Medicaid and community transportation needs, and we’re excited to offer scholarship opportunities of up to $1,000 per year for eligible students pursuing higher education or trade programs.
