LIHEAP Winter Crisis Assistance Is Available

Jan 5, 2026Program Highlights and Achievements

Cold weather emergencies can happen when you least expect them, and help is available. ❄️

The LIHEAP Winter Crisis Program is open to assist eligible households with home heating emergencies, including help with propane, electric, natural gas, or kerosene. Assistance is paid directly to the energy vendor to help restore or maintain service during critical times.

📞 Please call your local West Kentucky Allied Services (WKAS) office to schedule an appointment or to ask any questions about the program. Our staff is ready to help guide you through the process and see if you qualify for assistance.

If you or someone you know is facing a heating crisis this winter, don’t wait—reach out to your local WKAS office for help.
