Mar 24, 2026Work With Us

West Kentucky Allied Services isn’t just looking for someone to manage programs — they’re looking for a leader who understands that real community impact means meeting people in crisis and helping them find a way forward.

They’re hiring a Community Services Director to oversee core programs including CSBG (Community Services Block Grant) and LIHEAP, with a focus on moving families from immediate relief to long-term self-sufficiency. This is a senior leadership role with real authority to shape how the agency serves Western Kentucky for years to come.

What the job involves: Leading the daily operations of multiple programs, developing case management strategies that support economic mobility, managing program budgets, ensuring compliance with ROMA standards, mentoring staff, and presenting data and impact reports to the WKAS Board and funding partners.

Who they’re looking for: A experienced leader with a background in social services or community development, strong budget and organizational skills, and a deep understanding of what families in crisis actually need. ROMA Implementer or Trainer certification is a big plus.

The details:

  • Full-time, in-person
  • $55,000 – $60,000/year
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and a flexible schedule

If you’re ready to lead programs that don’t just solve problems for a month but create lasting change in people’s lives, this role is worth a serious look.
