West Kentucky Allied Services is looking for someone ready to build something from the ground up — and make a real difference in the community while doing it.
They’re hiring a Transportation Coordinator to help launch a brand-new regional transit program designed to connect Western Kentucky residents with healthcare, employment, and essential services. This is a ground-floor opportunity, meaning you won’t just be stepping into an existing role — you’ll help shape how the program runs.
What the job involves: Coordinating vehicles and drivers, optimizing routes, building partnerships with local healthcare providers and social service agencies, tracking ridership data, and making sure everything runs safely and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Who they’re looking for: Someone with a background in logistics, transportation, or social service coordination who knows the Western Kentucky area and thrives in a “figure it out as you go” environment. A CDL is a plus but not required — just a valid license and clean driving record.
The details:
- Full-time, in-person
- $35,000 – $40,000/year
- Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, and a flexible schedule
If you’re passionate about transportation as a community resource and want to lead a high-visibility project that will impact lives for years to come, this one’s worth a look.
